Yesterday I  had  a  very difficult time saying goodbye to my students of La Salle School  in Sangklabury.  It was even more so difficult because their sincere wish to see me back among them as soon as possible.  Once again I realize that here, any small effort you do for the children  gets and immediate  and affectionate answer.  I am convinced that I have received from them much more than I have given and this impression of debt towards them make you  feel even more reluctant to go away. Their morning  salutation, their attention in class,  their smiling faces, and their willingness to sing, play , repeat  or comply with your requirements is something  I will never forget.

Ayer me costó despedirme de mis alumnos del colegio La Salle de Sangklaburi.  Y fue tanto más difícil al constatar su sincero y afectuoso deseo de verme pronto de nuevo entre ellos. Una vez más constato que cualquier esfuerzo, por pequeño que sea que hacemos por estos niños, recibe una respuesta de afecto inmediato.  Estoy convencido de que he recibido mucho más de lo que he dado y esta impresión de deuda hacia ellos me hace tanto más difícil la despedida.  Su saludo matinal, su atención en clase, sus rostros sonrientes, su disponibilidad para cantar, jugar, repetir o cumplir con cualquier petición es algo que nunca olvidaré.
